ABOUT AYURVEDA

AYURVEDA IS THE ORIGINAL SELF-CARE

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga; an ancient mind-body medicine. A holistic science. Ayurveda sees the human body as an arrangement of five elements. Four of these (earth, water, fire and air) take solid form. Ether is the non-physical x-factor that bears no weight, the silent force field.

Ayurveda is oh-so practical, wise and simple. She frames health and wellness within the context of each individual. We all have different in borne potential.

There is no secret. No magic bullet. Our vital power comes from elemental balance. That is harmony with our natural state and authenticity to our core.

Ayurveda teaches that self-care is not about luxury and privilege. It takes discipline, sacrifice, awareness and ritual. But the reward? Discovering you are one powerful individual.

'YOU DON'T FIND AYURVEDA, AYURVEDA FINDS YOU.'

Her message is simple; freedom lies within. Open yourself to age old intelligence, an ancient science that the body remembers.

Earth
Fire.
Water.
Air.
Ether.

THE 5 ELEMENTS

The 5 elements are your energetic care kit - all that you need to understand your inner and outer worlds and how the two relate. The elements are what connect what exists within you with all that is around you.

These terms are not literal. They are the best words that we have to describe the physical properties and energetic vibrations of our experience.

Water, for example, is not water alone, it is the characteristics features of water like the force of cohesion between water molecules that gives is softness,  fluidity and movement that define the water element.

Each other element is also defined by a set of qualities. To learn to read the qualities is to understand how to bring your body into balance.

OUR PEDIGREE

Traditions are engrained rituals that withstand time. They connect us to an ancestral truth, an ethereal knowing. Science, on the other hand, deconstructs the wholeness to observe, to validate, and to rationalise with proof.

In the world of Ayurveda, tradition and science coexist. There is no duality. They are of the same language. To the traditionalist, Ayurveda is living in equilibrium with the energies of creation (Kapha), maintenance (Pitta), and destruction (Vata).

To the scientist, Ayurveda is navigating complex genetic and epigenetic principles by using simple energetic terminology.

Ayurveda is the traditionalist. Ayurveda is the scientist.

Our pedigree is tradition + science.

THE MOTHERLAND, INDIA

India is the spiritual home of every modern yogi and Ayurvedic that ever was and is yet to come.

It is said that the great motherland partnered with one enlightened soul over three lifetimes to forever change the world.

The first incarnation was Panini, the father of the Sanskrit language. The second incarnation was Patañjali, the author of the Yoga Sutra and father of modern Yoga. The final incarnation was Charaka; author of one of the most prized Ayurvedic texts and father of Indian medicine.
